Marlin 25n Magazine

Nov 12, 2017 · i have both the magnum 25mn and the s,l. &lr 25n. They are both vey accurate rifles. The 25n was given to me by someone who found it in a trash pile. It was rusty and had no sights or magazine. The only problem i have with it is that the magazine doesn't fit.

A 7 shot clip (407346) was also available at the time. The 25 was available quite readily from most outdoor stores then but seemingly impossible to find now. Jun 13, 2012 · by coincidence i have a glenfield 25 and a marlin 25n, so i took them out to compare. The glenfield 25 is from 1978 and uses the old style of magazine with the release lever built into it. The magazine clips onto a metal piece up inside the mag well. The marlin 25n is from 1995 and uses the newer style magazine. The magazine was changed from a bananatype to a straight magazine, the safety was reversed(the old style fire position had to be pulled toward the shooter). His magazine is correct for the glenfiled 25, but not for a '88, '89, or 90 (pre '91) 25n. My marlin 25 is an '87 and uses the old style. The n suffix denotes new and those require the newer style straight magazine. Aug 14, 2013 · i just purchased a new factory magazine for my marlin 25. It's an '87 so it's a model 25, not 25n. The mag arrived to day and appeared to be an exact duplicate of my original. However it refuses to lock into the receiver. I removed the barreled action from the stock and tried to insert it, to rule out a misalgnment of the mag guard. I would look up the parts for those rifles and see if anything is close. Marlin made all of the above, chances are good the parts may interchange.
