Even if it's your favorite arc, there might still be a few things you didn't know about thriller bark. For example, did you know that eiichiro oda once considered making gecko moria into a pastor with a split personality? That would have been a wildly different story. After the straw hats discovered a skeleton pirate without a shadow, thriller bark started small and in a very fun way in a haunted house scenario with a certain dr. Hogback and his mad creations.
I guess if he really wanted to, oda could bring it up again. The thriller bark arc is the eighteenth story arc of the manga and anime one piece, and both the first and only story arc of the thriller bark saga. During their journey through the florian triangle, the straw hats arrive on a seemingly haunted island called thriller bark, where they encounter. The next stop in the straw hats' journey brings the crew across a ghost ship where they meet a talking skeleton, brook, who seems friendly enough. But this meeting leads the straw hats getting trapped on a rather spooky island filled with bizarre monsters. What's more, the place is run by another warlord of the sea, gecko moria.
