What Happens When You Touch A Crab's Antennae?

Two pairs of sensory organs used to gather information regarding a hermit crabs surroundings. Hermit crabs’ antennae, or feelers, are used to gather information. Sometimes the feelers touch the feelers of another hermit crab. Most often, this action occurs when the crabs are saying. These are long, segmented appendages near the crab's eyes that have both chemoreceptors and allow them to feel its surroundings.
